Facilities available
Barton Seagrave Village Hall includes:
- Main Hall
- Conference Room
- Café Lounge
- Meeting Room
- Toilets including separate disabled.
- There is a patio & grassed area at the back which is gated.
- Car park
Main hall dimensions are 20.5m x 14.5m with a ceiling height of 8 metres in middle and 6 metres on edge.
The hall will hold 175 people and is equipped with folding chairs and the following folding tables.
- 10 at 6ft x 2ft 3 in (1.83m x 0.69m)
- 10 round tables which are 60inches in diameter.
The main hall is equipped with electric blinds and a drop-down screen, a hearing loop for users of hearing aids is installed within the hall. If you wish to make use of the projector and screen, please advise on booking which a small charge will be made. WIFI is available in the hall.
If you are arranging a children’s party with a bouncy castle these can be accommodated in the main hall. The Village Hall’s insurance does not cover accident or injury to those using a bouncy castle.
Conference Room dimensions are 11.5m x 8.25m with a ceiling height of 2.8m
Café lounge which is open to the public Monday to Friday 09.30-15.30 for hot and cold drinks which also houses the bar which is open for groups and functions in the evening and weekends.
Small Meeting room dimensions 6×2.5 metres is available which can cater for up to 10 people which has table and chairs with a white board on the wall.
Outside there is a patio area with seating in the summer and a grassed area on a slight slope. Hall users are responsible for keeping the gate shut when children are using the outside space this is particularly important as this leads to the car park.
There is a defibrillator located on the outside wall of the Village Hall. In an emergency you should ring 999 and speak to the ambulance service who will, if appropriate, give you the access code and instructions on how and when to use the device.
The Car Park can accommodate up to 40 vehicles, which also has an electric charge point for charging electric vehicles.
